Do you ever feel so overwhelmed that you don't know what to pray for?Last night before going to bed I watch the 'Glen Beck Documentary Special', which was quite thought provoking. Then I watched Sky News. Goodness me. What can I say.
Then I went to bed.
I always pray when I go to bed, but last night I was just so overwhelmed with what I'd been listening too, I just said "Lord, how do I pray? Everything is such a mess, what do I say to you?"
"Help us".
Do you ever get like that?

Carol, yes, I get like that, too.
I watched that same documentary and felt overwhelmed, then the Lord reminds me of John 16:33-He has overcome the world. I thought of the people who survived through those horrible times and see God's faithfulness.
God is with us and He promises us that He will never forsake us.

Carol, I know just what you mean. There are times when I can only say...Lord you know the prayers I hold inside me, please listen to my unspoken needs.
Other times , usually when I'm not so tired, I can freely praise Him.
But I know that in both cases, He is there for me.
I know what you mean. Life can be overwhelming...so many things out of our control. It's hard to know how to pray. I'm so thankful God knows what is in our hearts before we even speak. Thank you for sharing.
