FOURTH SUNDAY IN ADVENT
We are now able to light the centre candle for Advent, which is the white candle.
This candle represents our Lord Jesus who comes to bring light to our world.
John 8 v 12: Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying,
"I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life."

This is our Christmas star! My hubby made this star when we celebrated our first Christmas together, many years ago, and it comes out to sit at the top of our Christmas tree every year. I can remember the night he made it and the love we shared (and still do!) as we giggled our way through the cardboard and silver foil.
The star is lasting a long time.
And so is our love.
God's love lasts along time too - in this world and the world to come.
My bible tells me that ... "For God so LOVED the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
As our last candle is lit we can know our Lord who offers us pure, unconditional love. His arms are wide open for us to run into and receive His love.
As we accept our Lord Jesus we experience that true and perfect love that only He can give us.
It is my belief that Jesus came to earth because He loves you.
I hope you will know and experience His
Hope- Peace- Joy and LOVE
not only at Christmas but always.

What a beautiful post. I think it is absolutely wonderful that you still have the star your ear hubby made. Such sweet memories for you both. :)
How lovely to remember those sweet Christmas memories from our past. Merry Christmas my friend! May our precious Lord and Saviour bless you now and forever.
