Well, how fast does time go by!! It's hard to believe it's the middle of November already and almost time for celebrating Christmas! I have missed blogging (never thought I'd say that)!!
Things have been pretty hectic here and our bathroom is almost finished. It's taken longer than we anticipated, but that's ok. It's looking gorgeous and I will post some photos next week. I'm so excited for it to be finished!
The weather here is very strange. It's been heavy rain for a couple of days and places like Cockermouth have been completed flooded. What a disaster - those poor people having their homes ruined, I can't imagine how they must be coping. The wind has been extra strong, but the temperature has been quite mild. Today has been calmer and hasn't rained round our way, but I'm not so sure about other places.
We have a bird bath which is just outside our kitchen window and amongst the trees in our garden is a family of about 6 little birds. It's been a real treat to watch them fly backwards and forwards between their nest and the bird bath. They come and flutter around in the early morning and then come back again as it starts to go dark! So cute.
I was off work today and went to have my hair cut and had the greys coloured! Much better now.
God has been and still is being very good to us. We experience his grace, favour and provision every day. What a blessing!
