Well, there I was in the middle of my shower when all of a sudden the water ran cold.... Ahhhhhhhhhhh......
Upon investigation it turns out that the pilot light has decided to stop working and so we have had no hot running water at all this weekend. What a tizz....
I hadn't noticed before how much hot water is used on a daily basis, such as taking a shower, washing the laundry, cleaning the floor, washing the dishes, etc. So this weekend's routine has been strangely interrupted.
Thankfully we still have electricity so the kettle has been almost over used and hopefully we will be able to get the boiler/pilot light fixed tomorrow.
So it's been abit of a giggle this weekend!

Well it's been so hot here that a bit of cold water would have been welcome! It makes you realise how we take things like hot water for granted, though.
Oh no! I had that happen to me once when I was taking a shower at my parent's house...it was verrry cold! I know it takes something like this to help us appreicate what we usually take for granted. Plus causes a bit of adjustment in our daily routine! I hope you were able to get the pilot light fixed on Monday. Take care!
