My favourite Psalm is number 121 as it tells me- my help comes from the Lord
- my Lord is the Creator
- He will not allow me to be moved
- He will not fall asleep and forget me
- He will keep me
- He will protect me
- He will be a Guard over me
- He will be with me always
I will lift up my eyes to the hills -
from whence comes my help?
My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.
He will not allow your foot to be moved, He who keeps you will not slumber.
Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord is your keeper,
The Lord is your shade at your right hand
The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night.
The Lord shall preserve you from all evil, He shall preserve your soul.
The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in
From this time forth and even forevermore
When times are tough, this Psalm puts a smile on my face and joy in my heart.
My God is a wonderful God.

Now your comment is interesting Carol. One place I have not been to check out Bluebells is Brentwood and it is on my doorstep. I guess that will nwo be for next year.

This is the psalm that I used to read to my husband when he first went into hospital after suffering a stroke last year. I think it brought us both through a bad time.
