What a joy it is to tell people

of Jesus. When I speak to

people about Jesus my spirit

jumps for joy and my heart

is light.

Some people don't want to listen to me tell them how much Jesus loves them and longs to have a relationship with them. They smile sweetly and change the subject as soon as they can.

Others are just so pleased to know that they can be forgiven for their wrong doings or sinful ways and to know that God is a God of love just waiting for them to open the doors of their heart and welcome Him in.

I remember the emense joy I felt when I realised that Jesus loved me just the way I was. He didn't want me to brush up my life and try and make myself better. He wanted me to come to Him exactly as I was, worts and all. And as I accepted Him as my Lord and Saviour, He was there with his love and amazing grace.

And I come to Jesus every day, exactly how I am, knowing that He is there for me. Cheering me on through the good times; carrying me through the not so good times; encouraging me through all times. He gently corrects me when I'm wrong. He never leaves or forsakes me. He is my Friend, my Counsellor, my Bread of Life. He is my Rock. I can tell Him anything and everything because He loves me.

He gives me a peace that passess all understanding. He makes my impossible situations become possible and everything always works out (not always the way I think it should, but always the way He knows it should - which is the best way).

My life would be nothing without the King of Kings.

I will continue to tell people of my Lord in the hope and belief that they will experience the joy of knowing and accepting Jesus as their own. One day every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord.

What a day that will be.

Carol, how sweet and wonderful is this reminder!! He is my all in all!
I get the same responses from people when I share Jesus with them. I also get that overwhelming joy in my heart and spirit when I talk about Him! What great love He has for those who receive Him as Lord and Saviour! Yes, every knee will bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord. He is just!
